BOLO: Missing mother and her 1 year old daughter Kateri. Jovonny "Jovy" Jaime was last seen on the Sobaba Indian reservation in Hemet/San Jacinto, California, with her boyfriend Raymond Mesa, AKA "Willie." Her 1 year old daughter Kateri is also missing.

I was unable to find any news articles. Since this is just now being reported I expect there to be coverage soon. Another case of a missing person last seen on the "rez" is Kathleen Haney. Link...CA - CA - Kathleen Haney, 56, Hemet, 23 Jan 2017


Cases on the rez don't seem to get much attention because it's hard for LE to intervene. Hopefully that'll change with this case.

Yes I did read that somewhere. I think she actually has 3 total. I wonder if her bf is also missing? I haven't been able to find any information on him yet.

An Indian reservation is considered a sovereign nation and has it's own government, law enforcement, etc. The FBI can only get involved if it's a federal crime or is asked by the reservation government.
