I missed this from a couple of months ago, and I apologize if there’s already a thread (searched but couldn’t find one). It appears that Judge James Gosnell, who presided over the Dylan Roof case, has now been charged with not just possessing CSAM but abusing children himself and planning to travel to “train” other offenders. CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A former Charleston County magistrate judge has been officially charged with six different counts related to having, receiving and distributing child pornography along with a second person.

Those charges include possessing, distributing, and receiving child sexual abuse materials involving explicit images of prepubescent minors, toddlers and infants engaged in sexual conduct. Some of the depictions, authorities say, involve rape and torture.
