I don't know if she's had any surgery, but I definitely think she's a botox-devotee. My opinion only but she is un-naturally wrinkle free for a white woman her age.
Not really South, she doesn't drink smoke or take drugs, she doesn't go out in the sun and she's only 38, add to that good genes and you have someone virtually wrinkle free when they're heading into middle age...
But I agree about the botox/forehead, there's something not quite right there.
Kazz the boiled egg comment made me laugh, funny.

Really? I haven't noticed plastic surgery on Nicole! Priscilla Presley, yup. Paula Abdul, si. Kenny Rogers, affirmative. But on Nic???:waitasec:

I think Nicole is much more attractive with a little more weight. She is so thin there is hardly anything there. I recently saw a picture of her a little heavier and she looked so pretty. I also like her hair with some curl to it instead of flat to her head.

Priscilla Presley has ruined her looks. I saw a picture of her at Lisa Marie's wedding and didn't even know who she was. She looks horrible. She used to be such a beautiful woman.

There is a shot that you can get now that dissolves fat. To do your stomach it costs $200 and it takes about 6 shots. What you do is have the doctor save a little if you want your slightly double chin to disappear and the doc will give it a few shots. My oldest grandson thought he had love handles and a little to much stomach so he had the shots. The doc touched up his chin too and he looks great. This is something new according to him and it is inexpensive. It is more if you go in to just have your face or whatever done but the stomach is $200.

I told my grandson that he could have exercised for less but he wants instant gratification...of course! I would never have botox or that suction thing they do to your hips, etc. To much pain for me. Botox does make a person's face look stiff and unnatural.

I love Keith Urban's music. I don't know him as a person but I think he has really struggled to stay clean and did great for quite a while. I think that Keith conned himself into believing that he could drink alcohol and it would be alright because he wasn't using coke. It happens and people relapse. Relapsing is often a part of recovery. That is just a fact. It's alright as long as the person realizes what has happened and gets help. I think the most important thing is that a recovering addict/alcoholic get to know themselves well enough and are so intuned with their feeling, etc that they will realize when they are in relapse mode. That is why treatment is important. If a person really wants recovery they can learn the skills that they need to maintain recovery. Recovery is a lifetime of hard work and it helps to have a partner who will be a support system and also understand what recovery is all about. I think that Nicole will fit that bill.

I REALLY like how you worded that. What a beautiful way to state the truth. Very eloquent.

lizzybeth....

The way things are going these days, with your logic of recovering addicts or addicts not being a good choice for ANYONE, the end result of that would be alot of lonely people. Remember, for every person that is a "known" addict, there are 10-20, probably more, that remain "unknown". They are most likely among your coworkers, neighbors, friends, healthcare personnel, grocery store clerks, hairdressers, soccer moms, and other people you run into every day. I don't have too much personal knowledge of addicts (but then again, you never REALLY know....maybe I know many addicts & I just don't know it) but I can tell you that someone simply being an addict isn't enough for me to write them off.
You're right. There are many out there. I was married to someone who became an addict. He's clean and sober now and leading a respectible life. Would I become involved with him again (and he has asked)? No, absolutely not. If I met someone and fell in love again and they told me they were a recovering alcoholic/addict would I end the relationship? Yes. Relationships are risky at best; having one with an addict/alcoholic whether recovered or not makes it even more difficult. You can call me judgemental if you want but I'm being honest.

Julianne-
Actually Keith Urban was in rehab in 1998 for a cocaine/alcohol addiction, he is not just a recovering alcoholic.

"In the late 90's Urban battled an addiction to cocaine. After reaching a personal rock bottom in 1998, he became determined to give up the habit and checked into Cumberland Heights, a treatment center in Nashville."

http://www.keithurbanforum.com/bio.html

To say addicts are "In many instances, a recovering person of any sort is a great choice because they've touched darkness and chosen light"
is fine for you but honestly I would not choose a person who had a habit in life to deal with the reality of life by avoiding dealing with it by using a substance that will hurt their family, it would be different if they just hurt themselves.

We have quite a few alcoholics and addicts in our family. I also worked at a rehab even though personally I have never experimented with drugs and what I saw there is enough for me to choose not to be involved with someone with it even if I had to stay single for the rest of my life. It also bothers me that they are out on the roads with me and my loved ones.
Sorry I didn't read your comment before. It says what I feel perfectly.

I looked at the pix of Nicole via that link. I agree she looks different than she did back in her Days of Thunder days but I can't say that it looks like plastic surgery. Her nose always crinkled at the sides like that. Her top lip looks fuller but I don't think it necessarily looks like collagen. Her lip doesn't turn inside out when she smiles ala Lisa Rinna. It just looks like someone lined her lips and added those curves at the top. Her face is thinner but I think she has just lost weight. :waitasec:

It's only the forehead (just to my eyes), narlacat. I don't think the rest of her face looks like it's had help!

Well said, Bobbisangel. Very few addicts get and stay clean for life - more often, it is a process that includes relapse.

Thank you! I know I look different than I did 10, 20, 30 years ago! A face fills or thins out as one ages... I too do not see plastic surgery.

Is this mesotherapy, Bobbisangel? My sister-in-law had procedures like you described only it was a heck of a lot more expensive and ineffective, imo. But then, she has more than just love handles.

IMO, with aging you tend to resemble your own self, even after 10 -30 years. Nicole barely looks like the same person, not just looks different, but looks like a whole other person. Whether your face fills out or thins, you're going to have some wrinkles and your skin will sag. It's just nature. Her face is anything but natural. But that's just MO.

Whether or not Keith Urban had an affair with this woman, I just feel so sorry for Nichole! Who needs this? Here she is a bride, trying to get her life together after the Tom Cruise fiasco, and instead of having a nice "happily ever after" life, she is now forced into a position of "supporting" her new husband through his drug/alcohol (?? don't know which one) rehab!

I am just so very sorry that he did this to her. But, then again, was there not a time when he supposedly postponed a wedding to her because he " was not ready"? Perhaps she should have listened up then!

In any case, the whole thing is just so sad, so sad.....
