Has anyone else seen three radically different photos for this young man? I am perplexed. I'm going with the photo the police put out.

It's very concerning that all of his personal belongings were left behind.
Sawyer Creek is described as a 'primitive camping area', with no formal facilities. You have to hike in about 5 miles from where you park.

Here is a link to a good page describing the camping area and photos of the area:

It is hunting season, but no hunting is allowed after dark and that is when Kenley disappeared, so it isn't likely a hunting accident.

You're not wrong. He looks different in most photos. Changed a lot in appearance this year. He buzzed his hair off at the start of this summer so that pic is floating around too. I'd say the most accurate is the photo of him standing in the kitchen.

The initial article said he was camping with a friend when he left the campsite at 10 pm, leaving his belongings behind. I'm wondering if it was just a "nature call" and he expected to return in a few minutes, but got disoriented. At that age, camping, I wouldn't rule out a little recreational alcohol or marijuana use, not at all uncommon at that age but also more likely to result in a physical mishap in the dark.

I agree that this is a very good possibility.
But if so, where is he??

All we've got to go on in his friend's comments. I have no doubt that his friend is scared at this point.

Since it was a long hike back to his vehicle he definitely could have gotten lost. I also read that there are a number of private properties in the area, and perhaps he stepped where he shouldn't have?

The area is a big but fairly constrained area. Surely LE would have found Kenley by now if was a simple case off wandering off the trail while incapacitated.

GEORGETOWN, Texas — Kenley Bommarito, an 18-year-old from San Angelo, has been missing since Friday night near Lake Georgetown. His mother, Deanna Morris, and family members have been tirelessly searching the area since he was reported missing Saturday morning.

I feel awful for Kenley's Mom 🙁

Mom's interview is cryptic. She said the friends searching don't know anything they don't want them to know. And she also said that We didn't know it was gonna be like this. We thought he was lost but it's a little more than that apparently.

Is there a suggestion of harming himself out there in the interwebs? My heart is breaking for Kenley's mother. Such raw emotion at a traumatic time and experience.

I wish I was closer to help search.
