Officers were called to Chastain Road in Kennesaw, GA on Jan. 6th at 10:30 AM. Skeletal remains were discovered in a wooded area near the I-75 exit onto Chastain Road.
No details are released as of yet. No known COD or MOD.
This area is down the road from the main campus for Kennesaw State University. The case is in the hands of the Cobb County Police Department.
(IMO: the area does have an unhoused population. No mention yet if they were found around a campsite or not. The decomposition might’ve been slow given the cold months, so they might’ve been there for months.)
