Missing woman reported in Lewis County

LEWIS COUNTY, (WKTV) - The Lewis County Sheriff is investigating a missing person.

Armstrong was last seen in her grayish/tan 2008 GMC Envoy with gold NYS plates JGP9528.

She did not return home at the expected time and was reported missing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lewis County Sheriff's Office at (315) 376-3511.

A family in Upstate New York is asking for the public's help in finding a 53-year-old woman, who left for a doctor's visit on Friday afternoon and never returned.

A family in Upstate New York is asking for the public's help in finding a 53-year-old woman, who left for a doctor's visit on Friday afternoon and never returned.

The Sheriff's Office in Lewis County confirmed on Saturday morning that they are searching for the whereabouts of Kimberly Armstrong of Constableville. Armstrong is about 5' 6" tall and was driving a 2008 Envoy with a plate number JGP 9528 on Friday afternoon, according to her husband Bill.

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office has concluded a search to locate a missing Constableville resident.

Just after 4 PM Saturday, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office released a statement saying a search has been concluded and their bolo - Be On Look Out - has been canceled.

IMO, they found her car.

IMO, she lost control or made a wrong turn and went off the road.

If you search her name on Facebook, there is a post from the family stating "she is no longer with us"

Family statement also mentions they "have a huge hole and are left asking ourselves why" so JMO I don't think it was an auto accident. MOO.

Her FB posts about a colonoscopy on 4/26. The article upthread says "A family in Upstate New York is asking for the public's help in finding a 53-year-old woman, who left for a doctor's visit on Friday afternoon and never returned". That makes me wonder if maybe she could have received some bad test results at that 4/28 doctor visit?
