A lot of questions left after reading this article.

From the article:

MacMullen was allegedly a friend of the man who abandoned the child, and MacMullen had brought the child to his residence.

At MacMullen’s home, the child told police he gave them two tattoos, one of which was on their back. Four days later, MacMullen allegedly abandoned the child at a campground called Hideaway Lakes in Polo.

Any idea how old the child is? Are we talking 7 or 17?

I hope he was at least using clean equipment, although based on the article I highly doubt it 😬

Another sentence that adds mystery from the original article.

A Missouri man admitted to police last week he illegally tattooed a missing child from Kansas.

So, did the man who abandon the child with MacMullen abduct the child, then left the child with his friend (MacMullen) who later abandon the child at a campground? What the heck happened here?

The victim had been in the company of a man who had abandoned them at Hideaway Lake in Polo.

First responders said that when they found the child, they were wearing a tank top, which revealed a tattoo that appeared new. When asked, the child explained that MacMullen had been a friend of the man who abandoned them.
Missouri man admits to illegally tattooing missing child from Kansas

So, the unnamed man was in the company of the missing Kansas minor. That man was friends with MacMullen, an apparent meth using tattoo artist. during the time the unnamed man and the minor hung out at MacMullen's home the minor received several tats. Then the unnamed man abandoned said minor at a campground.

Yikes, birds feathers flocking all that. Odds are the unnamed man is also a meth user. I wonder how long this minor was in this man's company? Hoping THAT individual faces charges for HIS crimes as well as MacMullen.

Okay... confusing... so I guess the child is safe and sound now? Weird. I took a look at missing children from Kansas but impossible to narrow down without age, gender, etc.

Sounds like the kid is okay. Hopefully the tattoo is something they look back on and laugh at in a few decades. I was tattooed by the neighborhood crackhead as a teenager. I still laugh about the cockeyed panther on my leg. This story could have ended much worse. Moo.
