On March 14, 2000, Penny's body was found in a wooded area located at 7700 Corliss Road, DeSoto, KS. She was last seen by a Kansas City Missouri Patrolman in mid bus stop on Independence Avenue and case as a homicide following an autopsy. TYLER (Metro Case # 272) On March 14, 2000, Penny's body was found in a wooded area located at 7700 Corliss Road, DeSoto, KS. She was last seen by a Kansas City Missouri Patrolman in mid bus stop on Independence Avenue and Woodland Street. The Johnson County Coroner ruled this case as a homicide following an autopsy.
