Found Safe KY - Holly Parsley, 33, Laurel County, 1 Aug 2019

Holly Parsley age 33 was last seen walking into the woods off London Dock Road at 6:00 PM on Thursday night August 1st, 2019 and has not been seen since.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Laurel County Sheriff's Office at 606-864-6600, or 606-878-7000.

Deputies Brad Mink, Taylor McDaniel, and Robert Reed are investigating.

London Laurel Rescue is conducting a land search.

Laurel County Emergency Management is also assisting.

Kinda local story for me. The area she's missing in is not one that many people could navigate without breaking a leg or falling off a cliff to be honest. So if she's actually in there then this probably isn't going to have a happy ending.

In this particular instance, we are just not sure what's happened out there. And so that does make us concerned. All the cases make us concerned, but this one especially. Because we don't know any other circumstances other than she walked into the woods and disappeared," said Laurel County Sheriff's Office Deputy Gilbert Acciardo.

They are concerned because the terrain Parsley went missing in is dangerous.

"That's a real remote rural area back in there. There's a lot of rock cuts and cliffs, and dangerous areas out in there," added Acciardo.

If she's not wearing a lot of makeup she does look a little different. Laurel County charges a fee for court records so no link but she was also charged with being under the influence in this arrest. In 2016, two years prior she was arrested under the influence when she was staggering into traffic on a road. Complaint results in LSO arrest of female subject - ClayCoNews

I’m afraid that if she was not very aware when she went off into this rural area she has met with an accident
