The Lexington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for a missing man. Joseph Boggs, 22, was last seen on October 27, 2022, around 4:15 p.m., in the area of Edgewood Court.

Mr. Boggs suffers from a traumatic brain injury and is reportedly legally blind and deaf. Boggs is approximately 5’9” and around 165 pounds. Mr. Boggs is possibly wearing red shorts or tan pants, a navy short sleeve shirt, and white Crocs

Anyone with knowledge of Boggs' whereabouts is asked to call 911.

He graduated from high school in 2018, and recently drove to another county (see post above) - looks like an adult who just wants to get away from home....

Yikes! He is legally blind and was driving a car? I'm glad he was stopped before he or someone else was hurt.

Makes me wonder if, at his age, his brain condition can be improving over time; and if this would increase his visual and auditory abilities. Latest actions do not seem 'disabled.'
