Grayson County man last seen in Louisville missing ‘under suspicious circumstances’

Police hope the public can help them find a missing Grayson County man who may be in danger.

Michael “Kerry” Williams, 57, was last seen Sunday, Jan. 13 in Louisville on Preston Highway between East Indian Trail and Fern Valley Road.

The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office said Williams is from Anneta, KY.

Police said another witness claimed to see Williams near his home in Anneta in the early morning hours of Sunday, Jan. 13 -- but officers cannot confirm that sighting.

Wonder if he recently moved to Louisville from Grayson County. They are pretty far apart. Grayson is in Central KY.

It did say he was seen near his house in Anneta, which is back in Grayson County.

Police said they are not ruling out foul play in his disappearance.

I wonder why LE is saying this? Usually they don't say that unless they suspect it right away. I see they mentioned that he doesn't have his glasses with him- sounds like he uses them all of the time and would need them, even if he went for a walk.

I wonder if they found some evidence at his house- blood, a sign of a struggle, etc.

That’s what is a question I have also. It actually would help to know why he was in Louisville. Fern Valley is quite a long street and this particular area is quite busy.

They need to release a little more info. None of this makes sense. It has been covered quite extensively on the media outlets but, nothing to go on.

BREAKING NEWS: Preliminary autopsy results for formerly missing Anneta man found dead of bottom of cliff are released
The preliminary autopsy results for the formerly missing Anneta man found dead on Saturday at the bottom of a 30-foot cliff have been released.

According to the State Medical Examiner’s Office, Williams’ body displayed “Multiple blunt force trauma injuries to (the) head and torso sustained in a descent from a cliff.”

The preliminary results said Williams suffered internal bleeding, kidney damage and rib fractures in the fall.

Toxicology results are pending. The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office is leading the death investigation.
