Curious if she was really “seen” in that area, and if so, by who?

I lived in Lexington briefly. Bluegrass is a very small airport. It can be extremely empty at certain times of the day. It isn’t like bigger city airports where there’s a constant stream of cars in the pick up area. It’s not uncommon for people to park in the pick up/drop off lane closest to the sidewalk to wait for whoever they’re picking up to come outside. It’s typically that empty to where you can park in the loading zone and no one will ask you to move.

There’s not a whole lot in the surrounding area of the airport. It’s mostly just horse properties that are pretty spread out from one another. Lots and lots of big, empty, green fields. The point being, you could definitely get lost out in that area and not be noticed.

Hopefully she’s okay and finds her way home soon.

the only other thing I can think of, is maybe she got confused and drove to the CVG airport instead. It’s the closest major airport for that area, about an hour and some change driving distance away. I bring it up because miscommunications involving CVG vs Bluegrass sometimes happen. I’ve had to go pick up a friend at Bluegrass because their parent accidentally went to CVG. Also had an Uber driver take me to bluegrass when I was CVG bound.

Really wondering if it’s been confirmed that she made it to the bluegrass airport. Since it isn’t a busy airport, I feel like it wouldn’t be too difficult for the airport’s surveillance footage to be reviewed to look for her vehicle.
