In November 2003, Linda Sasko left her husband Roger at their home in eastern Whitley County. When she returned home, he was gone. While Roger Burton Sasko, now 58, was last seen at his home in Gatliff on Nov. 6, 2003, he wasn’t reported missing for another three months“...According to his family, he’d had periods where his whereabouts were unknown,” Harrell said. “That was the reason given” for the delay in reporting his disappearance to police.

Someone commented on the Williamsburg (News Journal) story that this could be a Roger Sasko, or at least that he was a person missing from nearby. He's been missing (from Powers Hollow Rd, a little east of Williamsburg) since 2003.

Search For Man Missing Since 2003 Has New Lead (WKYT, Lexington, KY 3/8/2007)
Roger Sasko's family reported him missing back in November 2003 and police say they've exhausted many leads since then.

They had a suspicion about Sasko's son's property and when they got the opportunity, Wednesday, to have police dogs sniff the area they became even more suspicious.

UPDATED: Missing person case leads to discovery of 12 lbs. of pot, $20,000 cash (The News Journal, Williamsburg, KY 9/13/2012)

Williamsburg police efforts to find a man, who has been missing since late 2003, inadvertently led officers to an alleged marijuana transaction last week that resulted in the recovery of about $20,000 cash and nearly 12 pounds of processed marijuana.

On Sept. 12 about 6:30 p.m. Williamsburg Police Detective Bobby Freeman charged Johnny W. Johnson, 57, of Powers Hollow Road, and Michael Rose, 50, of 5970 E904, with first-offense trafficking in marijuana over five pounds.

After Sasko was reported missing during the first week of November 2003, members of his family received some letters or postcards reportedly from Sasko shortly after he disappeared, but the authenticity of those correspondents hasn't been determined.

The letters reported that Sasko was traveling, and bore a Lexington postmark.

** I can't find Sasko on any missing persons websites. I also haven't seen a pic of him in any of the stories about him. So we don't know his height/weight, distinguishing features, etc. **
I couldn't access the linked articles so I copied @bflocket comment from:
