Kentucky State Police asks for help in finding missing Laurel County woman​

Tawana Martin, 37, was last seen at her home by family members at 7:30 a.m.

Police believe she could be with Ronnie Martin, 42, of Corbin. They said she was last seen with him on Friday around 3 p.m. in Rockcastle County.

The pair could be traveling in a 2007 Ford Edge described as “creamed colored” with Kentucky plate 080-YCP.

Tawana is described as a white female, about 5-feet-2-inches tall, around 190-pounds with brown eyes and brown shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray shirt or a blue Old Navy sweatshirt.

Me too. Her Facebook says she works at a school. That doesn't go with a person who makes terroristic threats? What does that charge normally mean anyway?

I heard this term recently and had to look it up. From what I read, it's any type of violent threat to harm another person. I noticed Tawana's charge is 3rd degree, which is probably the least serious.

I wonder, if she was to be found guilty, would it result in her losing the school job?

Well, the pending criminal charge would explain why she's the one listed as "missing", and not the man she was reportedly with. He's not being sought apparently.

And it doesn't appear that family is looking for her, just the Kentucky State Police.

Kentucky State Police on Sunday asked for the public’s help locating Martin’s wife, Tawana Martin, 37, who had been seen with Martin, 42, Friday afternoon in Rockcastle County. Her family had last seen her Friday morning at her home in London, according to state police. She was later found in Mississippi, Kentucky State Police announced.
