Circumstances of Disappearance:
Knapp resided with her boyfriend, Ted Boyett, in Kinder, Louisiana and was last seen on December 3, 2001. Boyett picked her up from her place of employment around 4:30 p.m after she completed a ten-hour shift and she has never been seen since. Authorities believe the couple returned to their residence shortly afterwards, as their vehicle and personal belongings were located at the house. A frozen chicken was also discovered thawing in the sink. Neither Boyett nor Knapp have been heard from again.

Knapp's purse, Boyett's wallet, and their paychecks were also left behind. The only items reported missing were a television, VCR, table, computer, and telescope. Knapp's only credit card was used to purchase fuel at a gas station approximately 100 miles away in Jeanerette, Louisiana, four days after the couple was reported missing. The fuel was paid for at the pump, so no one saw who used the card. Investigators state there is little evidence available in the couple's disappearances, but foul play is suspected. Their whereabouts remain unknown.

I would hope the investigators looked into local pawn shops. These seem like items someone would try to make a quick buck from.

Charlene was last seen at her place of employment. She was picked up by her boyfriend, Ted Boyett . Their vehicle and most personal belongings were found at their home. Her credit card was used 4 days later in Jeanerette, LA.
