Estelle Webb, 88, was reported missing May 6 but was last seen on April 28 at her home in New Orleans. Her car is also missing. New Orleans police investigators say Webb was last seen at her house in the 8700 block of Heaton Street in Hollygrove on April 28.

(...) "The neighbor or someone said they saw the car leaving out of the driveway. It's two in the morning and my aunt can't drive at night. Her leaving at two o'clock in the morning draws a red flag."

During the investigation, NOPD detectives named Lovezella Bartholomew, 27, as a person of interest. (...)

ST. CHARLES PARISH, La. —Detectives said a body found in the Bonnet Carre Spillway early this month is that of an 88-year-old New Orleans woman who was reported missing.

Estelle Webb was identified Tuesday by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office. She had been missing from her home in the 8700 block of Heaton Street in New Orleans.

Webb's body was found May 4 in Lake Pontchartrain just west of the entrance canal to the lower section of the spillway, the Sheriff's Office said.

The Sheriff's Office said the body was in an advanced state of decomposition.
