I did not see this posted anywhere and also was not quite sure where to post it so I hope this is okay.

For $65, tourists get peek at Los Angeles gangland amid cease-fire negotiated among rivals.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Only miles from the scenic vistas and celebrity mansions that draw sightseers from around the globe - but a world away from the glitz and glamour - a bus tour is rolling through the dark side of the city's gang turf.

Passengers paying $65 a head Saturday signed waivers acknowledging they could be crime victims and put their fate in the hands of tattooed ex-gang members who say they have negotiated a cease-fire among rivals in the most violent gangland in America.

Also, here is a link for this group that is offering these tours:

um, yeah, we just entered the age our ancestors warned about

shouldn't this be prohibited since they're sorta profiting from crime?

wonder if the people who signed a waiver could actually read English

also wonder if they saw anything that was worth $65

Why would anyone be interested in taking such a tour? Better yet, why would anyone be willing to pay any gang member for illegal activity? The idea sounds about as exciting as paying the garbage man to take me on a tour of a land fill.
