FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 13, 2024​ Missing Juvenile Sought by the Seventh District​ ​ [td] ​ New Orleans - New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a missing juvenile. Missing is Ja’ya Johnson (pictured), Black female, age 16, height 4' 7", and weight 120 pounds. She has red braided hair. According to investigators, Ja’ya Johnson was last seen around 7:00 a.m. on December 12, 2024 at her home in the 7700 block of Swift Street. She reportedly left home to go to school and has not been heard from since. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ja’ya Johnson is asked to call Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070.​ # # #​
