Found Safe LA - Lauren Lavigne, 32, West Monroe, April 28-May 4, 2022

OUACHITA PARISH (KTVE/KARD)— The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators are currently trying to locate a missing woman. Lauren Lavigne, 32, was last seen in West Monroe between April 28 and May 4, 2022. She is described as a White female, 5’5″ and 130 pounds.

She was last seen traveling in a blue or black GMC Yukon type SUV with unknown Texas tags.

I know this area, having grown up in LA. Unfortunately, what we see up above appears to be all that is known. LE doesn't apparently even know the license plate of her vehicle or even the color. On top of that we are looking at one week time span - 28 Apr to 04 May. With no more info than this, it is barely more than an acknowledgement from OPSO that they know she is missing. With this limited amount of info and a one week time frame how is it even known she went missing from West Monroe? With that one week time frame she could have gone to Ruston, Shreveport, Tallulah or even Baton Rouge.

It's bizarre there is no information about her really. No one asking her to come home, etc.

KCC posted more info. Under a comment by OPSO, a person VL replies, and KCC replies to them.

However, the police department says she is STILL missing, the case is open, and they are actively looking for her and investigating. So I'm a bit confused here.

Godspeed to Lauren and may she be safe.

June 7, 2022-This is still an active missing person investigation as we do not have any confirmed information as to her whereabouts. The investigation will remain active until we do locate her. We continue to ask anyone that thinks they may have information as to her whereabouts or may have been in contact with her since she was last seen to contact OPSO at 318-329-1200. I will post any future updates as they occur.
