**Slidell PD Searching for Missing / Endangered Man**
Slidell Police are searching for a missing and endangered man, 26-year-old, Mitchell Phillips. Phillips was last seen leaving his home, off of Pontchartrain Drive in Slidell, around 1:00 p.m. on January 1, 2019. No one has seen or heard from Phillips since that time.
Slidell Police do not suspect foul play; however, Phillips is believed to be a danger to himself, and is not taking his prescribed medications. Anyone with information on Phillips’ whereabouts is asked to call 911, the Slidell Police at 985-643-3131, or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. Phillips is listed in NCIC as a missing/endangered person and could possibly be anywhere in the New Orleans metro area.
Phillips is described to be a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, and weighs approximately 190 pounds. Phillips was last seen wearing blue jeans, a yellow jacket/hooded sweatshirt, and black tennis shoes.
