MISSING: Baker woman last seen dropping off children

A Baker woman is missing after she was last seen dropping off her two children at her mother’s home, according to the Baker Police Department.

Nahendra Faye Davis, 35, of Baker, was last seen on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at about 4:45 p.m. Police say she dropped off her children at her mother’s home in the Glen Oaks area of Baton Rouge. Davis left the home in her white Dodge Challenger. Her family does not know where she was heading after she left.

Davis’ unoccupied vehicle was found around Scenic Hwy. and 72nd Ave.

Oh no, "last seen dropping off children" never seem to end well for women. I wonder who the men in her life were at the time of her disappearance?

Here is her FB. She has not updated her timeline since December of 2017 when her relationship status changed. Nahendra Davis

Nothing worse than skewed reference photos of the missing person. It completely changes their likeness. Here are some that I found that are in correct proportion.

I wonder what her mental state was when she dropped the kids off. Did she know she was in danger, or was it a routine drop off for babysitting?

I got them from several mainstream news articles. Haven't the time to verify. Go ahead and delete if necessary

Her car was found. A Challenger is a really nice car - could she have been carjacked?

My heart is with the loved ones of this beautiful young mom.

She dropped her kids off at her mothers at 4:45pm on her birthday (which was a Thursday night) and didn’t tell her mother where she was going? No plans with family, friends or coworkers that evening to celebrate her birthday? And when was she supposed to return to pick up her kids? Were they going to stay a few days at grandmoms since school was out?

Her car was actually found in water in a flooded area with the keys inside, in addition to her purse and credit cards. If she drove into a flooded street and couldn't get out she may have had to flee the vehicle in possible fast-moving water. Unfortunately, even strong swimmers often do not survive such scenarios. Prayers for and her family. https://thecriminaljournal.com/loui...-without-a-trace-after-dropping-off-children/

Oh, my! I had no idea about the water. Oh...that so often means a negative outcome. I hope not, but it makes more sense now.:(

The car in flooded water surprised me too. I’m hoping she is found safe somewhere but the flood water issue is very concerning.

Family still searching for missing Baker woman

A mother of two is still missing after disappearing on her 35th birthday days before the New Year.

Police say, Nahendra Davis dropped off her children at her mother's house in Baton Rouge on December 27th and hasn't been seen since.

The family does not know where Davis was headed, but her white Dodge Challenger was found a few miles away in Baton Rouge near Scenic Highway and 72nd Ave.

Baker police say they don't have any leads about where she might have gone or if anything has happened to her. Those with information should contact the Baker Police Department at 225-775-6000 ext. 1.

I wish they would have taken a pic of the car immediately so we could see what kind of flooding... it’s missing from some articles so it might have been very little?
She abandoned her Facebook after a breakup in 2017? That’s nagging at me a bit. I did that a long time ago after an obsessive/ abusive/traumatizing relationship, so that fact has me worried
