The Leesville Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a local mother who has been reported missing. Shelby Ann Johnson Simmons has not been seen or heard from since Mother’s Day.
She was last seen Corey Simmons in a Navy Blue PT Cruiser without hubcaps covering the face of the rims. The back window glass is broken out. It may be covered with a plastic garbage bag.
Johnson is described as:

Her family and friends have taken to social media in hopes of trying to find Shelby.

“It’s been 12 long and miserable days since we have seen or heard from Shelby Ann Johnson. I am begging you if you have seen or heard from her please just let me know she is OK. She was arrested on a warrant on April 29th. Haven't found out what the warrant was for nor whether she had/has a court date pending that she was avoiding. Or whether he has an outstanding warrant.

Also, seeing his Facebooks it seems as if he was betrayed by her - at least that is what all the memes are saying and attempts to tag "Shelby Ann" are untagged. So, this could be a bad situation all around.

On the other hand there has been quite a bit of flooding and an accident could have happened. Hopefully law enforcement has obtained cell phone location records.

UPDATE: Shelby Johnson Simmons is no longer a missing person. She came into the Leesville Police Department today (06/11/2019) with her mother to speak with an officer. The Leesville Police Department appreciates the public's assistance in sharing this post and helping aid in our efforts to locate her.​
