  • Height and Weight 5'8, 165 pounds
  • Distinguishing Characteristics African-American female. Black hair, brown eyes. Watson may use the last name Cantrell.

Details of Disappearance
Watson was last seen in the 9600 block of Medgar Evers in Mer Rouge, Louisiana on September 8, 2020. She was in the company of her three-year-old son, Cain, but it's not clear whether Cain is also listed as a missing person. She has never been heard from again. Few details are available in her case.

She is listed in the LA database of missing persons, but no additional information there:

I grew up nearby and have been through Mer Rouge several times as I hunted in that general area. The high school age kids attended Bastrop HS as Mer Rouge is your typical one stoplight town.

There is nothing that I can find in local newspapers or TV stations on her case when I perform a Google search. I find it strange that the status of her 3 year old son is not known. I wonder if she just simply left the immediate area and is in Bastrop, Monroe-West Monroe or Shreveport areas and there are those that know of her but don't realize she has been reported missing.

According to LE’s post, Watson and her soon was seen leaving the Bayou Galion Subdivision in Mer Rouge.

It appears this subdivision is located on what is known as “Oak Grove Highway”…when approaching the one intersection Mer Rouge has, it’s across the tracks.

Mer Rouge is only about 45 mins from me. It’s a small town with a lot of historical charm.
I’ve never heard of this case until now.

Mer Rouge is about 45 minutes from where I grew up. I spent a lot of time in the parish, but not in Mer Rouge itself.
