I have the impression, although I don't know what his marriage was like if he had debts, problems with the law, etc., that he committed suicide... when that decision is made, there is nothing in the world that can reverse it... nobody knows what really goes through another person's head...
whatever the case
rest in peace

I think I agree with you.

I notice he had "trauma" and "multiple scars on left side of head and left arm from shotgun wound to face." How did this happen? Was it an accident? Intentional by someone else? Self-inflicted? Even if he himself didn't do it, the disfiguring scars might've made him feel despondent, like he wasn't himself anymore, and he took his own life as a result.

This case is really strange... we assume it ended in suicide... but...
