Lachlan was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Yukiko Kishida, from Potomac, Maryland on June 24, 2001. A felony warrant was issued for the abductor on August 31, 2001. They may still be in the state of Maryland, or they may have traveled to Pennsylvania or out of the country to Japan.
