South Wales Police (SWP) have released further information regarding a pensioner who has been reported missing since the weekend.
“Leighton Tomes, 77, from Rhoose, last spoke to family during the early hours of Sunday, 20th November, at around 12.20am but hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
SWP have confirmed that Mr Leighton left his home address in his silver 04-plate Kia Carens car, similar to the one pictured below. The vehicle’s index number is: BM04 CUX.
A police spokeperson added: “Leighton has difficulty breathing and will appear very breathless.
He is described as 5ft 8ins tall, slim build, with short white hair and glasses.
Prior to going missing, Leighton has been known to stay in hotels in other parts of the South Wales area including Merthyr and Pencoed.
Anyone who may have seen Leighton, or who has information which will help us find him, is asked to please contact us quoting occurrence number *392856.”
