Letter from Baghdad

I was raised an army brat... my dad was army all the way... all of us need to support the troops, no matter how we vote or how we feel about the war...

Thank you!!! Keep in mind that most of the guys and girls over there are KIDS. They don't know the difference between people bitching about the war and attacking them. They're doing what they're supposed to do as soldiers and they deserve NOTHING but our respect, prayers and our gratitude.

You are welcome Shazza :) I posted videos that showed where the soldiers were having a bit of fun for a change.Working 18-20 hours a day days , days at a time and to see and hear what they go through.,reading it in the newspapers,tv news ect.

I like going to these videos and seeing them have a bit of fun,to see them smile.

I wanted to post the tribute for our Austrailian friends :) We do care about them also and are thankful for what they do :)

There was another video with Austrailians I wanted to post they are having a bit of fun and I laughed sooo hard.I could not find it.I am going to have my hubby find it so I can post it for you.
Thankyou ceeaura, looking forward to seeing the video.
Prayers to all the soldiers and their families.

Respect, Prayers, Gratitude-How very true. I do not even think about the fact that they may be from different countries,or male or female. I pray for all of them because they are all soldiers, following orders and fighting in a wartime environment. I pray for their families too. My father fought in WWII. His brothers were also in the Navy and to think what my grandmother must have gone through with 3 sons in the service at that time is beyond what I think I could endure.Thankfully all came home safe and whole, even though their nightmares continued until they died. I really appreciate all the links you guys have listed here is another one that I have found very important. It's a way I can contribute.

I just sent a check to the USO for Operation Care Package. I can't, in good conscience, celebrate the Holidays myself, without doing something for them.

What the troops really want is something to open for the Holidays - espcially personal items like wipes, deoderant, books, snacks, CDs, other toiletries that they can't find easily over there.

Those rapid deployment kits look good, also. I'm sure there are several good organizatons.
