We are renewing our appeal for help to locate a missing man from Lower Stoke, #Medway

Liam is described as white and of a medium build, with short hair and a short beard. He was last seen wearing navy blue shorts and a blue top.

‘We are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and continue to request public support in locating Liam. Anyone with information is asked to contact Kent Police on 999 quoting reference 23-0247.’

His family have issued the following message:

‘Liam if you’re seeing this, please come home. We need to know you’re safe. Your family and friends have been searching every single day to find you. We won’t stop until we know you’re okay. We all love you very much, and our hearts are breaking not knowing if you’re okay. So once again, Liam please come home.’

The family have chosen to keep a lot of the details of Liam disappearance out of the media, but a lot of things are in the search for Liam Group. Unfortunately there are a lot of similarities to Jason Landry disappearance from Texas, a couple of years ago that’s sadly still unsolved.

The Find Liam FB group is very active and the place for news about Liam.

Hundreds of people have been searching for Liam Graham since he went missing at the end of last month in Stoke Road, between Lower Stoke and Hoo. Over the past three weeks, the community has stepped up and continued to search for the 22-year-old described by his family as a 'well-loved' uncle, brother, son, and grandson.

From putting up banners, to searching the ground, thousands of dedicated volunteers have been supporting friends and relatives of Liam by launching their own community search. This meant people walking for miles around Hoo in the hope of finding him safe and sound.

Concerns have been growing since July 22 which is the last time he was seen in Stoke Road just before 1am. But determined to find him, his sister Holly has vowed to never give up search until her brother is home.

I have been following the Search for Liam Facebook group closely over the last few days, making the following observations:

* There has been more drone footage made available than I can remember in any previous missing person appeal

* Ditto for the use of and belief in mediums to help determine the location of a missing person

* The name Peter Faulding has begun to be mentioned.

His sister, Holly Graham, said: "We need to know if he's OK."
Liam Graham

She told the BBC: "He walked away and was seen holding his head. He is thought to have had a head injury.

"We haven't heard any information about him."

"Specialist officers have undertaken searches in numerous locations, assisted by drones, police helicopters, the dog unit, and the search and marine unit."
Police search for Liam Graham
Kent
Police have been searching in the area since Mr Graham disappeared six weeks ago

"At the moment we've having absolutely no luck finding him.

"We've had several search parties out looking for him and we're looking every single day without fail," she said.

"We're missing him so much. We just want him home."

It's just so hard for me to believe that in today's world, with our current technology - drones, helicopters, etc. - that he wouldn't have been found in six weeks! I mean, obviously I know that it often takes that long, if not longer. But with as far as we've come in the 21st century, it's just so frustrating.

Was last seen "leaving car crash" and "holding his head". I don't think he is far from the crash site, tbh, and in a rural location too allows someone to remain hidden...

Liams wallet has been recently found on farmland
Officers have begun a renewed area search to help find a man reported missing from Lower Stoke nearly three months ago.

Liam Graham was last seen just before 1am on Stoke Road, between Lower Stoke and Hoo, on Saturday 22 July 2023.

Kent Police’s search for Liam covered a large search parameter in the Hoo Peninsula and involved specialist officers from the force’s Search and Marine Unit.

These searches lasted 10 days and covered two miles on land and in the air through the use of drones, the police helicopter and the dog unit. Officers also conducted a thorough review of CCTV and completed house-to-house enquiries.

As part of the three-month anniversary on Sunday 22 October, and to allow for seasonal changes in the landscape, renewed searches were planned for the area later in the month.

On Saturday 7 October a wallet belonging to Liam was found on farmland, and due to the wallet being found these renewed searches were brought forward and started on Wednesday 11 October.

Liam is described as white and of a medium build, with short hair and a short beard. He was last seen wearing dark shorts and a dark, long-sleeved top.

Investigating officers are renewing their appeal for new information, sightings, or people to come forward with any details they have not previously shared.

Chief Inspector Trevor Jenner, District Commander for Medway, said: ‘Despite our extensive searches and enquiries we have not located Liam.

‘We are committed to supporting his family and will continue to explore any new information we receive. We continue to request public support in locating Liam.’

Anyone with information is asked to call Kent Police on 999 quoting reference 23-0247.

Assuming the wallet has remained in its original location, let's hope its location, any contents or contamination etc can provide relevant clues.
Yes I wud also be interested in knowing the state of the wallet, how weathered it looks, was this area previously searched. what was in it? Clearly something to identify Liam. I really hope this big development can lead to locating Liam.

I rarely make a comparison like this but it is so eerily amazing how similar these 2 missing men's circumstances are. May there be answers for both families soon.

I agree. This was mentioned and linked by @StillDiggin in a previous post, and I read the article. The similarities are uncanny. Let's hope for an outcome in both cases. It's interesting that LE have brought the recent search forward of the proposed date they had set (seasonal changes had been mentioned by LE) due to the finding, to my way of thinking this would be associated also with crops being harvested and hedgerow cutting taking place etc making a successful land search much easier.
