Lindsey J. Baum, 11, was visiting a friends house on the evening of June 26, 2009. As had happened many times before, it was time for her to walk home.
Lindsey lived four blocks away, which cops say is only about a 10-minute walk. She left during dusk hours, around 9:15 p.m. By 11 that night, Lindseys mother had called police to report that her daughter never arrived.
A massive search began the next day, and the investigation continues. Police don't think she ran away, yet none of the clues they've followed nor leads they've tracked definitively point towards an abduction.
