There is a very good chance that she actually removed Tawni from her mother's home less than 3 hours prior to Tawni landing on the side of the road. If this is the case, then she needs her fair share of responsibility assigned to her.

According to Mom, Lindsey was someone Tawni had met the previous evening at her friends house.

1.) Tawni was picked up for shoplifting on 1/25/99. This was a 10.00 item, even though Mom had just spent $300.00 that very same day on clothing for Tawni.
2.) Stepdad picked her up at the police station at 9PM.

3.) Fight between Mom and Tawni ensued. Tawni reportedly told mom that she did not know why she had felt the need to steal when she had just been given so much.

4.) Tawni went to spend the night at a friends house that was known to Mom.

5.) Tawni shows up the next day around 11AM with (who we believe to be) LDJ in tow. Tawni packs a few things for a few days, as was her custom during times of tension like this.

6.) Mom spends much time talking with (who we believe to be) LDJ-this girl says all the right things "Tawni is just going through some teenage stuff right now." "Tawni just needs some time to clear her head." "Tawni is safe with me; I will bring her back in a few days."

7.) Tawni and (who we believe to be) LDJ leave at 12PM on 1/26/1999. Tawni is wearing jeans, tank top, scrunchy, no make-up.

8.) 1413 or 1513, Tawni is on the side of the road on I-10, mile marker 173.

So, Mom knew who Lindsey was,(from the previous evening). Was Lindsey's name ever mentioned by Mom after that, and when? Maybe the woman she showed up with wasn't Lindsey.

She might not have been. But how did Lindsey get into the picture in less than 3 hours?..

If LDJ was met by mom and mom knew that LDJ was the last person she saw her daughter with, why didn't mom (and I'm not blaming) but why didn't she go to the cops and take a look at mug shots just in case. Anyone know if there was a pix of LDJ after being arrested or was she ever arrested? If not, how about a composite drawn of LDJ and then circulated. Sorry...ranting. There's just so many things that could have been done that wasn't, but if they tried to do these things then I apologize.

LDJ was not charged with anything for the particular incident, only Alonzo. But a while back it was discussed that cops had known LDJ to frequent the Van Buren area a lot and they had a photo of her, among other prostitutes, but Tawni was not in these photos they had, as far as we knew she was not recognized by LE.


Who can I call to obtain the photo of LDJ? The Phoenix PD? If I can't obtain it, surely it can be shown to Mom to verify this was the girl Tawni left with that afternoon.

I don't know what this would prove, I'm just thinking about the evidence here to see if if it has any consistence..

We don't know this for sure. "If" her stuff was in that car, then LDJ had it. But it may not have been in the car. We have no idea for sure.

I guess I was just assuming Tawni's things were in the car since she packed items before she left home and was with them in the few hours before leaping/getting pushed out the window. I figured nothing was confirmed yet, though.

I didn't see this until 5:30pm my time which is the start of the 30 min time slot for ABC World News, which is all election crap right now. I missed the 5pm regular news airing, but there's another one at 6pm. If it was aired on ABC 15 during 5pm, it may be re-aired at 6pm. I'll let you know if I see anything.
