(First post, picture is a representation by a forensic artist): "Lloret Man": This adult male was found in the sea at Sa Boadella beach, Lloret de Mar, Girona, Northeast Spain. This is a stretch of coast known as the Costa Brava, about 1 hour north of Barcelona (Spain) and 1 hour south of Perpignan (France). The man had only been in the water for a very short amount of time. No apparent tattoos or scars and his only posessions were the swimming trunks he was wearing along with a military-type chest rig. As the chest rig was filled with rocks, Spanish police ruled the death a suicide. Pale-skinned, height about 1.75m (5 ft 9), slim build. Police say hair is dark reddish-blond, but on photos looks more like dark ash blond.
The police investigation found no abandoned vehicle/possessions and contacted many of the tourist accommodations in the area and campsites to see if anyone had left car/possessions behind with no success. Apparently, DNA testing suggests man of Eastern European origin (this is an area with a significant Eastern European population and popular with tourists from Eastern Europe also).
A year after his death (Oct 2019), Spanish police obtained permission from the judge to publish his photos and requested public's help to identify him. Although Spanish press published the photos, I felt unable to share them as they were too graphic (photos of the deceased still in the water). As I run a small Missing Persons page for the local area, I recently engaged a Forensic Artist to produce a representation of the deceased from those photos in order to be able to share this man's case.
My column in the local newspaper (in Spanish) explains the story and shows the artist's representation of the deceased and his possessions.

Any help gratefully received. I am especially interested in finding Missing Persons pages in Eastern European countries (will check links later).
Thanks,
Debbie
PS: About 20 miles away from here, there is also a case of a Jane Doe of possible EE descent who was found hung a couple of weeks after this man's body was found. Also unidentified. I hope to be able to commission a picture of her at a later date (when my economy allows). She has one tattoo, on her left arm, which is the Hebrew word for "success".
