Locked up in wooden cage in Austrian classroom: girl with learning difficulties

  • #21
Hey ..foster care is full of children just like her. Sign up and fill that room.

From experience...compassion and love are often times simply not enough

Linda - I agree that sometimes love and compassion are not enough but I also think, in this day and age, that there are many more options for dealing with her behavior then putting her in the crate. If she absolutely has to be locked up, she should be in a room where she can move around, preferably with a window so she can see outside.

Her age chronologically may be 14 yrs, but we have no idea what age she is cognitively. She may be like a 3 yr old, who knows?!
