Honestly, after studying a few different kidnap for ransom cases, most of them the ransom notes are rather lengthy.. The JonBenet Ramsey Ransom Note was actually on 3 small notebook pages, like 4x8 inches..

375ish words. The ransom note pad was 5" x 8" according to Karen Auge of The Denver Post. A wide left margin probably reduces the writing area to about 4 inches.

I also find it odd that the amount of money asked on the ransom note was the same amount of money John Ramsey received for his work Christmas bonus....
