I just saw this in People magazine. If it is a duplicate post or I posted in the wrong forum please delete or move, my apologies. So very sad, incredible woman imo. How 'the Longest Living Jane Doe' Learned Her True Identity After Years of Being Trafficked and Abused

Its a great story of persistence. And one of how common and easy "inofficial" private adoptions still are. Her teenaged troubled mom was too vulnerable to fight for her kids so someone took advantage. Can happen today, too.

I dont think its the correct forum, thou. Maybe move to identified or crimes-spotlight on children?

Thank you so much for this, I hadn't heard of this case. With this Doe and Lisa/Dawn from the Terry Rasmussen case showing the power of genetic genealogy, there really is hope for these abducted, trafficked, and illegally adopted children to find their families and get some answers.
