Not quite sure where to post this but need guidance and advice. Long and short of it, conflict of interest on a Louisiana grand jury. The father of a victim was on the grand jury of a defendant. Once the defense attorney found this out, the DA was confronted. Louisiana grand juries consist of 12 members and must have 9 voting in favor. Father heard all evidence, etc presented and deliberated alongside others and voted. In attempt of correcting the conflict, the DA did not consider his vote and counted the other 11 only. A motion to seal the grand jury fiasco was granted. This just does not sit well with me. Advise?
