LP Now Says He "Wouldn't Have Gotten Involved"

  • #141
I can not imagine what George Anthony was thinking and feeling when he drove Casey's car home after picking it up from the storage yard. If the stench in the car was even close to the smell of human decomposition I have to believe George would not just have been concerned but most probably scared out of his wits.

I'm wondering, and forgive me if this has already been asked, did the Padilla's not see the video of her dancing in the club before they posted her bond?

<<I am surprised someone like Leonard could be "played" at all.>>

Me too. He doesn't seem like the type does he? I remember hearing when he first came on the scene that he has a new show coming up soon. At the time, my initial thought was "yep, he's in this for the publicity."

Well, this is an interesting development. It took me all day to get through all the documents and I can't say that I am surprised by anything in there other than the sheer number of lies told.

I am feeling rather sorry for the Padilla's right now because I could see the writing on the wall long before they did. However, they didn't do their homework before they jumped into this and that was a mistake on their part that I don't really understand them making. Even if they truly believed and still believe that they can find Caylee, they could have done what they are doing now or planning to do now without bailing her out. I guess they were taken for a ride but good business men do their research before they put their money down. Now all that money that could have been donated to help in searches, flyers, posters, or charities for Caylee and other missing children is gone and wasted. Too bad really.

I understand what you are saying but I wonder if the Padilla's were told by Casey's lawyer that all the information out there (remember it was only in the media and on WS where all this info came out) was exaggerated by the media. Perhaps he told them the media is full of lies and Caylee is alive and needs your help. What if Cindy and George told them that the media was exaggerating Casey's lying and they know Caylee is alive and Casey will talk if only she could get out.

My point is the people directly involved in the case could have convinced them not to believe what they are hearing...they did not...and now they are burned because of it.

Only when these documents were made available could most of what we knew be verified.

JMO of course.

To add to Tricia's important post, I also believe they were of the opinion they would have access to Casey, as Leonard stated, and that rug was yanked almost immediately... Having access to Casey would have allowed them to work through what they knew and or had been told, with her, hopefully to generate leads to finding Caylee. I dont think they ever thought this girl's character was pristine, they were just focused on Caylee, imo.

I'm sorry I'm late on this thread but I was wondering if it was covered who of Padilla's "team" left ? I know he said it last night on NG...... I was hoping TP would revolk the bail just because of the amount of money they are paying for security for her, it's not fair to them....

again I apologize if all this has been stated already........

Or golfishing...don't you think Scott and Casey would make a great couple?
The comparisons are uncanny. Let's put both of them on Death Row together. JMO.

I know this has been discussed but i still can't believe LP said what he did last night on Nancy Grace that without him the media wouldve let this case go a long time ago-- excuse me , Mr Padilla but many of us have been reading, researching and keeping close eye on this case since day one-- including my buddy Nancy Grace herself keeping it on every night--

Yes, watching LP on Nancy Grace tonight. I truly believe that he feels disappointed, because he really intended to help, and was misled.

I am team Padilla now...he was definitely being genuine tonight. He looked really hurt at this latest news about the body farm, and angry at Casey and Baez for not talking...

I can't believe he ever really believed Casey would open up to him ~Im not so sure it matters to him so much if she did---he wanted the publicity~

Very telling words from LP.....

"I've never run into a person who lives in a parallel universe and does not have a worry about what has happened to her 3-year-old daughter," Padilla said."
