La dernière fois qu’elle a été vue, elle était à bord de son véhicule, une Honda Civic 1994 de couleur mauve, immatriculée GZB-707.
Vers 21 h 45, le 23 octobre 1996, la disparue dépose sa soeur au coin des boulevards Saint-Michel et Crémazie Est. Lucie Bouchard devait ensuite se rendre à son domicile de Brossard, sur la rive-sud de Montréal, mais elle ne s’y est jamais rendue.
Elle souffre d’épilepsie et doit prendre des médicaments. Elle pourrait faire, en moyenne, deux à trois crises par mois.
Douze ans après sa disparition, le SPVM relance l’enquête afin de trouver de nouveaux indices qui pourraient mener à la localisation de Lucie Bouchard.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., on October 23, 1996, the missing woman dropped off her sister at the corner of Saint-Michel and Crémazie Est boulevards. Lucie Bouchard then had to go to her home in Brossard, on the south shore of Montreal, but she never went there. She has epilepsy and needs to take medication. She could have, on average, two to three seizures a month. Twelve years after his disappearance, the SPVM launched the investigation in order to find new clues that could lead to the location of Lucie Bouchard.'' (English translation)
