Is this the same guy?? The first and second names are switched but some of the details are the same.

ANDREW P. DABBS | Federal Bureau of Investigation

Remarks:
Dabbs was known to use drugs and may have possessed weapons in the past. His last known address was in Derry, New Hampshire, and he has ties to Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Massachusetts, and Colorado. Dabbs may have been infected with HIV.

Caution:
Andrew P. Dabbs is wanted for allegedly murdering his girlfriend on October 10, 1981. The couple was driving through Norton, Massachusetts, from their apartment in Derry, New Hampshire, when Dabbs allegedly shot the victim in the chest with a .45 caliber revolver and pushed her body out of the car onto the side of Route 123. On November 3, 1981, Dabbs was indicted for murder by the Bristol Superior Court in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 20, 1982, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Dabbs by a United States Magistrate in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, after he was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

He could have stayed under the radar by working in small, independent garages as a mechanic for years. His possible health status as HIV positive in the 1980s could mean he used Medicare benefits at some point. If he is still alive, he'd have to be collecting social security. If the FBI has a warrant out and they can't find him, I'm going to go with he's dead already. Perhaps he is in a pauper's grave somewhere.

I know this is a quite old thread but I found it while researching about this case. I'm curious what you all think about NamUs #UP16435 as a potential match for Andrew Peter Dabbs.

NamUs #UP16435:
"Scar (8cm long x 2 cm wide) on right arm (antero-lateral, near elbow). [...] Multiple small scars on inside of left elbow."
Height: 6'1" (estimated)
Found: Roxbury neighborhood, Boston, MA.
Estimated Age: Pre-40, 20-35.
Date Found: 07/17/1981

APD NamUs Page:
"Right forearm has large vertical scar. Upper left arm with large burn scars."
Height: 5'10
Missing from Norton, MA.
Age: 38
Date Missing: 10/10/1981

The dates do NOT match up, seeing as APD is wanted for a murder that occurred in October of 1981, and the UP is listed as found in July 1981. The similarity in location, age, height, and placement of scars on both arms has really bothered me. Is there precedent for NamUs errors in date of persons found? If it was a typo and the UP was found in summer 1982, I would be inclined to submit these as a possible match... I made an account on here to see if I could get some input from you all. Thanks
