MA - Concord Man Charged in Assault of Three Police Officers

CONCORD -- A 19-year-old Concord man who police suspect smoked synthetic marijuana or another hallucinogenic drug was being held without bail on assault with intent to murder and assault charges after he allegedly assaulted three police officers Wednesday.

Officers arrived and found Jacob Randle, 19, of Concord, who appeared to be "in a disturbed state" ...."

"Officers tried to calm Randle, but he assaulted three officers and threatened to kill them, O'Connor said. Glad the LEOs' injuries were "minor" and Randle did not wrest their weapons from them.
Also glad that the officers' Taser use subdued him enough to arrest him & take him into custody.
