Falmouth Police Department
Police asking for information to help locate missing man- The Falmouth Police Dept. is asking for the community’s help locating a California man who has been missing from Falmouth since about noon today (Friday).
Douglas Gold, 62, was last seen in the area of Surf Beach Bath House on April 5, 2019 around noon. He is a white male, height 6’02”, weight 245 lbs., blue eyes, brown hair and possibly wearing glasses. Mr. Gold may also be despondent.
An extensive search of the area was conducted by the Falmouth Police, along with the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit, Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit, US Coast Guard Station—Woods Hole watercraft and US Coast Guard Air Station—Cape Cod aircraft.
