Francisco Ortiz is accused of killing his 4-year-old daughter in Worcester.

The girl suffered injuries in her left eye, earlobes, neck, chin, arms, abdomen, chest, and hips, Sans said. She later died after being brought to UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Ortiz allegedly told officers that the girl had fallen off a kitchen table, according to court documents, but doctors said the skull fracture appeared much more severe than one that might have been sustained in a fall like that, NBC Boston reported. Two other children at the home also had injuries.
