Here's a direct link to the quote I post yesterday. This is from Day 20 and Ashley Vallier's testimony. This is about the chain of custody and cross contamination. Go to the 1:08:56 mark.

Wow. So just to be clear… the DNA expert who sampled the potential dog bites did not have direct possession of JOKs shirt - she was sent swabs that she had to assume were from the areas of interest on the shirt. And the forensic scientist tasked with looking at the tail light pieces did not have them sent from the original collection bag that also contained the shirt? What is going on with the evidence collection in this case?

This is what they must mean when they talk about the Canton Circus, right?

I know a cop or retired cop lived across the street and had camera footage that he erased because he deemed it didn’t show anything of value. Does anyone know if he came out of the house when all the emergency vehicles were there?

I came into this case assuming she did it because I thought cops would never behave dishonestly. That changed when the guy whose lawn JOK’s body lay on didn’t come out when police and paramedics were out front. There is NO way any cop would have stayed inside knowing a dead body was found on his lawn. Cops are so inquisitive by nature and at home? The correct thing for him to have done if he had nothing to hide would have been to go out and identify himself as a cop and asked what he could do. He didn’t. From there I flipped from guilty to not guilty for KR. The rest of the evidence did nothing but make all of the cops involved look guilty.

I have a friend who’s cop. A bunch of us were at a park one day, on his day off, when we saw a very low flying small plane go by. He immediately took off and called the cops about it as he ran towards the lake. That is normal cop behaviour. (The plane ended up in the lake but the people on board were able to get out safely.)
Exactly and the German Shepherd would have been barking incessantly. There's no way you could have slept through that. The owners were hiding.

The first half of that quote is not from Ashley Vallier's testimony. It is from Maureen Hartnett's testimony.

Canton Deputy Police Chief Tom Keleher lives across the street from Brian Albert on Fairview Road. He provided the red solo cups when investigators knocked on his door, but said that his ring camera did not capture any activity as to what went on across the street from him that night.

I find that hard to believe as his camera was facing the crime scene. If she truly had hit him with the SUV, he would have come forward with the footage and there would be no trial at all. But the fact that he says his camera didn't capture anything sums up the whole case. He didn't see the Ford Escape pull up in front of the house in the early hours? The plow driver going down the road twice? I really wish they would have filed a protection order on that camera footage and subpoenaed Keleher for the trial(s).

-- John O’Keefe never went inside 34F contrary to what the defense wants you to believe.

-- Neighborhood surveillance cameras are typically set to view/focus on property and not street view or capture neighbor’s view. Why set your own camera to view your neighbor’s house/yard when the purpose is to protect your own property. Right? Spy on a neighbor much? Keep in mind the location of JOK’s body. Ask why would a camera be focused there and for what reason?

-- BA after a a long day in NY w/BH traveling and a night of drinking was asleep and did not hear first responders arriving. Moreover, there were no sirens on.

-- BA and his wife (NA) were awoken by JMc (NA’s sister). A LE officer was at the bottom of the stairs inside their home (34F) as they are coming down the stairs.

-- JOK was already on the way to the hospital and no first aid administered needed.

-- The Alberts contract to sell their house before JOK died. The Alberts did not renovate their basement. There was a flood issue and the baseboards were fixed.

-- BTW, what’s the update on KR’s carpet situation? lol
If there’s any truth to her carpet claim Id suspect she would have already provided it. That would have been a goldmine for her, IF her claims were true. However, the A’s basement had no carpet.

-- BA attended JOK’s funeral as did BH.

-- May/June 2022, the Albert dog was rehomed because of a bite incident that had nothing to do with JOK.

-- August 2023, There are questions about KR and her team walking into Levy’s office and the probe launched. Who had connections with Levy or possibly someone else in his office?
Most recently the federal investigation into the state’s handling of KR’s case is now closed (KR would like you to believe otherwise). No charges were brought against police involved in the investigation.

-- BA had a 30yr career as one of Boston’s finest, zero blemishes on BPD record.
His record is impressive.

-- BA upgraded his phone, he did not destroy it; and the Feds have all his communication.

-- BA pocket dialed BH the night of JOK’s death and KR also had pocket dials.

-- BH has an outstanding record and received the LE Congressional Badge of Bravery.

Special Agent Brian Patrick Higgins, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Massachusetts | CBOB | Bureau of Justice Assistance

-- BH has no other place but to drive to a military base to destroy his phone, eight months later. He lived in a town (not to be named) on Cape Cod, with no trash service. As a veteran he has access to the base. Imo, his problem was being a lonely man and falling for KR’s games and not disposing an electronic device properly.

-- It makes absolutely zero sense these men would place a man’s body on the front yard of one of the men’s own home. Their background alone would tell you otherwise that if they were responsible his body would have been removed from 34F. Period. If this wasn’t such a serious case it would be laughable.

-- Not to forget she tried to blame a minor on JOK’s death as well.

-- No one seems to have a problem testifying, but KR who is refusing to testify and TB is taking the 5th.
Interesting about people who will not testify or take the 5th. Something to hide… there's quite a list of people who took the 5th, and we are all familiar with them and their records.

This case has always been complicated (thank you media, law tubers, YT, KR+,etc) and to really understand it and get to the truth a deep dive is helpful. TB great mouthpiece for KR and her team. However, the truth is really simple. Sad and so unnecessary to have come to this.

Canton: The day the circus came to town. 😒

Some facts about the case that get ignored and moo

Justice for John O'Keefe and his loved ones
My opinions:
  • Unfortunately we will never know if JOK went inside of the home since it wasn't investigated properly to find out.
  • Surveillance cameras are designed to provide security to a home, its property and driveway, and by default, often picks up images of vehicles driving by on the streets. LE often requests assistance from people who may have had dash cams or house cameras to glean evidence. They are not used to spy on neighbors as you are trying to spin here. A neighbor may have picked up the image of KR's (or snow plow or BH's truck) at specific times to aid in determining timelines.
  • Apparently BA and everyone in that home were dead to the world. Nicole Albert wasn't drinking all day was she? Brian Albert Jr was there too wasn't he? Who else stayed over? Everybody, including the dog, slept through 1-2 hours of extreme noise outside, from people shouting, Karen screaming hysterically, large vehicles running continuously, police/ambulance/firefighter radios chattering. It's not believable.
  • What is Karen's carpet situation? You're making statements that assume we all know what you're referring to. Can you make specific references so we can follow what you mean?
  • Some reports claim Brain Albert and Higgins did not attend JOKs funeral. Do you have a source to show that they did attend?
  • It's possible that the dog Chloe was given away after the dog attack because it was just one more event that Chloe put them through. Chloe obviously had a means of getting out of the yard. After having a dog for 7 years, a family doesn't "suddenly" give them away for one incident. It's typically after many incidents and they can no longer handle the dog's behavior.
  • Who is Levy? Not all of us know every character's name in the case.
  • A person can have an outstanding career record and still commit a crime in the heat of passion or anger or help their best friend cover something up. That's not to say I agree BA had an outstanding work record and I'm not sure where you gleaned that information. He certainly didn't have a clean record of drinking while driving, right, which is obviously a crime? Just because you've never gotten caught doesn't mean you're clean. BA and his cronies ruled the region around there for 30 years. Bullies they are.
  • If BA and BH had nothing to hide, why not hand their phones in as ordered to? Why would they coincidentally within days of each other and of the court order, destroy their phones? It makes no sense to do that if nothing to hide. Of course they had things to hide!
  • It's not believable that all of those people pocket dialled in the middle of the night, especially since they were all in bed, except BH of course, who was drinking then driving and moving around vehicles, and hanging out at a police unit. I cannot bring myself to believe that BH has an outstanding work record. It doesn't ring true to me. Again, he also drinks and drives. That might seem minor to many, but it's a serious crime that kills people. We as a society expect cops to obey the law that they are responsible to enforce. Yikes.
  • KR had pocket dials? To who?
  • BH was playing games with KR, driving down John's street so that he'd run into her, which he eventually did. He made sure to yell out a comment to her while she was gardening in her yard, and she didn't even recognize him and told him off for trying to pick her up. This started the games between them.
  • It makes little sense these men would place a man's body on the front yard, unless someone wanted to stage an accidental or deliberate death as a car accident. How else would any of them get rid of a body if someone ended up killing someone? Drunk men and drunk women don't make good decisions or have good problem solving abilities typically.
  • That minor was leaving the house at exactly the same time as JOK was arriving, according to Nicole Albert's testimony and yet nobody mentioned him being there until they were forced to. It was also proven that he was violent and picked fights. KR's defense had every right to include that minor in their case.
  • People are not obligated to testify and most defendants exercise this right, so I'm surprised you keep complaining about that. Same with pleading the fifth.
  • TB has little to do with KR's case IMO.
  • It would be ideal to find justice for JOK and his family, however, unless the CW has some solid evidence finally that proves she hit JOK with her Lexus, how else can they prove it now with such a shoddy initial investigation? Put the blame right back where it belongs. It is not Karen Read's fault that so many law enforcement personnel and their SO's did so many odd things related to this case, and because KR had the money to hire outstanding attorneys, those others have been called out for their conduct.

This is my opinion only. The last day of trial number One, the jury was subjected to at least 3 members of the Albert and McCabe families, who were witnesses to the trial ( including Brian Albert) who sat stone faced and glaring directly at and towards the jury. Intimidate much? Each of those witnesses had hired their own private attorney, and I believe those attorneys ( and families) are instrumental in persuading the hiring of and CW's representation of Brennan, after the mistrial was declared. This is classic mafia-like moves... IMO

I'll tell you right now, JMC atty is a SUPER HIGH PROFILE AND $$$$$$$$$$$ person. He rep's many highly visible / news all that cases. Defense atty. When I saw who it was way back I was stunned, as where and why. Why did he take her on as a witness 'only' to JO'K death that she SUPPOSEDLY had nothingn to do with, besides being with KR when found. Pushing that KR admitted she hit J. Why not a 'regular' lawyer.. THIS is shady and questionable the reasons why in HER and Alberts heads to hire HIM. WHERE is she getting the money to pay for him.. This is very ODD. I would love to hear what TURTLE BOY, ha, says about this as well. He knows who he is and would also wonder WHAT> WHY HIM for JMC. if so innocent with nothing to worry about . His caliber is one that would be KR'S atty.!!

OH.. and he deeeeeeeeeeefinately knows ALBERTS for sure.. a favor?? IMO

I didn't even realize Jen McCabe had an attorney. I thought it was just Higgins since his attorney was in the courtroom and he was allowed to stop testifying to take a break to consult with his attorney too. Unbelievable and very interesting. Thanks for sharing that.

Thank you for confirming all of my points and that drinking and driving is a crime.

Your statement: "TB has little to do with KR's case IMO.” Another confirmation.

It getting old to keep blaming the investigation. Not every investigation is perfect. Name one perfect investigation. Shall we let out all prisoners who were convicted because of a poor investigation? There is no perfect investigation.

There is solid evidence against KR, please listen to the facts of the case.
It’s coming in T2. But, I dont think others want to know the truth, for what ever reason.
Let the drunk killer go free?

KR doesnt have the money, the money is coming from those who have been duped. She bankrupt her family.

Respectively do you know anything about this case? This case truly can be exhausting with the fake info.

just an opinion of course- speculation of course but time will tell

Do you mean respectfully or respectively?
KR has no money now. But when she was first charged, she was rich and hired the best lawyers. She has lost everything to fight for her rights. Her family has lost a lot too. Now the attorneys believe in her so much, they are not charging her for their services.
And so what if people want to support her cause? They believe in her too.
How can we NOT blame the investigation when the lead prosecutor got fired for his conduct???
You keep blaming KR without enough evidence of BARD. What's your evidence she killed him? A few pieces of taillight and a body 12 feet off the road with dog scratches and bite marks.
Yes, you are correct, we will find out of course (hopefully!) in Trial 2. Let's see the believable evidence of her killing John O'Keefe. Seeing is believing.
As for drinking and driving, everybody in the entire world knows drinking and driving is a crime and is not acceptable, except of course all of these law enforcement characters and their friends/family in this case.
MOO

Do you really believe the attorneys are pro bono for her defense? Come on. moo

Also, respectfully, thanks for the correction. :)

Something similar happened with the Honey and Barry Sherman case. Neighbours across the street and slightly west of their house had a camera facing the front yard and it covered the street and the driveway across the street.

Now this guy is a cop and he doesn’t think he should turn it over just to show nothing of importance happened? Did he even show it to any of them as he was handing out red solo cups? It’s so suspicious.

This is the third or fourth time this has been posted in recent days without any evidence that the neighbour in question has a camera which captures any of the crime scene or vehicles coming and going in the street.

I have no idea if it does or not but if i am setting up an activity based security camera for my home i would not want it to capture activity on the road outside or at the neighbours because i could end up with so much garbage footage.

I raise this only because clearly this is not relevant or probative of anything in this case yet is so often cited!

IMO

It’s worth looking into the location of the property and where JOK was found. It’s easy to get the impression there might be a camera directly over the road that could have captured JOK and the Lexus but in my opinion it’s not the case.

No. 33 Fairview Rd is shown with the white door on the left. It's almost directly opposite No. 34.
It looks very well positioned to see comings and goings of cars, the driveway and very likely the front door of 34 Fairview Road.

It's hard to believe that "nothing of importance" was found in that footage.
Actually it's easier to believe that the footage showed nothing that suited the narrative of JOK being struck by a Lexus.

33 Fairview.webp

In the satellite image below, I've shown a Ring Doorbell Camera field of view (150* - 160*)
Yellow Dot shows the Street Light
Blue Dot shows the Flag Pole.

You can be the judge whether you think that view would be sufficient to see JOK or a Lexus.

One could just as easily say that many of us have looked very closely at the facts. And what stands out isn’t a ‘conspiracy theory’, but a series of bizarre and unexplained choices made by people at 34 Fairview and by the officers involved. The car strike theory has never been conclusively proven with forensics, and the sequence of events that night leaves major gaps that demand scrutiny.

It’s not about a “perfect investigation.” It’s about an investigation that preserved evidence properly, avoided conflicts of interest, and followed basic standards.
Thats not a high bar. That’s the bare minimum. And yes, despite the emotional appeals implying that asking for due process means letting “drunk killers” roam free, I actually do believe in the U.S. Constitution and the laws that guarantee every citizen the right to a fair trial. That includes people you might not like. If that’s too radical an idea, the issue isn’t with the defense, but with different ideas of what ‘justice’ means to us.

Reasonable doubt isn’t about liking Karen Read. It’s about the legal burden of proof when someone’s life is on the line.
