Her FB: https://www.facebook.com/tristine.mersing

Looks like she has had troubles, but was on the right path at one point.

last year:

The church, its name kept secret by organizers, was being used as a warming center for 22 homeless people who had already spent the night at the overflow shelter. If not for the center, all would have been outside to fend for themselves during the brunt of the snowstorm. With government buildings closed, and even most stores, that could have been dangerous.
Tristine Mersing, 23, was happy to spend the day indoors.
Mersing found out recently she was pregnant, and walking around all day when the shelter is closed is getting more and more difficult, even in better weather.“It’s hard to be pregnant and not be able to lie down,” Mersing said.
She and her fiance have been homeless since August, sleeping on the streets until they learned about were they could find shelter.

I hope she is okay. She looks to have dealt with a lot in her short lifetime.

I'm wondering if a drug adduction is involved. It seems unusual for someone her age with what looks like a stable home at one point to be homeless - especially with so many "friends". The recent photos on her FB look like reposts of older photos. I wonder what became of her pregnancy? Photos from last fall show her looking healthy and normal. I am worried for her with the weather in that area. I wish the article provided a little more information like where she was last seen, why she is classified as endangered and whether her fiance is also missing.

ETA answered my own question https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/r...tance-abuse/fYXyCuKyfzkVf26LUX0hyJ/story.html

What I don't understand is that if she is homeless and chooses to live this way, how are they certain that she is missing?

My guess is either her fiance reported her missing, or she is supposed to check in with something like an outreach program, rehab or probation officer and didn't. The endangered part, I suspect, is due to her risk of relapse. I really hope they find her alive.
