Constance Holminski Bassignani, you deserved more.

Constance was a resident of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and previously lived in Franklin. She was born in Hawaii in 1924.

She was last seen on Memorial Day in 1989. Her husband, William Bassignani, told her family that she had moved back to Hawaii but investigators found no evidence that she ever moved back there and her family never heard from her again.

Bassignani’s husband, who died in 1993, is considered a person of interest in the case, the DA’s office said.

“Now that we know Constance’s identity, who she was married to at the time she disappeared, and where she lived, we are hopeful there may be someone out there who knows something, no matter how seemingly small or insignificant, that could help push this investigation forward,” First Assistant District Attorney Steven E. Gagne said in a statement.

Constance was born in Hawaii in 1924.
Married once before. Married the POI William in 1945. Lived in Woonsocket RI at her time of disappearance. Prior, they have lived in Franklin MA where William is from per his obituary that is included in the article. The obit also has Constance listed as a survivor(!!) and living in CA.
