I hope you don't mean the one in Kafr Naya? Ernesto's Sanctuary in Kafr Naya is the one in the article. I hope it's still intact!!!

Thanks SO much for posting this! I heard about him several years ago and had often wondered what became of him and the kitties. So glad he's still helping them! What a wonderful human.

yes he was bombed a few years ago and most of the cats died
but he has rebuilt now in a new location outside Aleppo

This is an amazing story and proves their are still good people in the world. I’m so glad this man is alive to show kindness to the cats in a desperate situation. I hope he and all the cats stay safe.
