A man was set on fire in Times Square in a horrifying attack early Sunday that left him with burns all over his face, and cops are still hunting for the attacker.

Video from the scene showed the moments immediately after the attack on the 45-year-old man. The victim is clearly in pain and covered in burns as authorities placed him inside an ambulance after putting out the blaze.

Times Square arson attack: Man set on fire in heinous assault

A man was hospitalized with burns across his face after being set on fire in a horrific Times Square arson attack early on Sunday morning.

FDNY and EMS rushed to the scene, loaded him into an ambulance, and rushed him to Cornell Hospital, where he is expected to survive.

Authorities report that moments earlier, an unidentified man wearing blue clothing had poured flammable liquid onto the victim, then set him ablaze. The reason for the heinous attack remains unclear.
