In an unrelated incident, an unidentified man was accused of stealing an ambulance parked at the scene. Authorities tracked the ambulance through its GPS system, finding it one block away.
Police found a man at least 30 years old inside the Tarpon Springs water treatment facility. When confronted, the man approached police holding a flashlight in one hand and clenching what turned out to be a potato in the other, Templeton said.
Police Tasered the man when he refused to lay down. The man, who later variously identified himself as "Maggie," "Shadow" and "Spartacus," faces charges of grand theft, burglary and resisting arrest with violence.
