Marcia, You go girl! I think your site is excellent - the approach, the information. I'm sure it will make a big difference in getting this bill passed.

When does the bill go before the Senate?

I do wonder about something. In Oregon I have tried to find if there are any sex offenders that live in my general area and I can not find out on the web. You have to put the name of the person in to find out anything and I think that is an a** backwards way to do it. Other states will give you a map showing the locations and I think you can find out all about them.

Will this bill change that aspect of reporting, so that you don't have to enter a name to find out who in your neighborhood is dangerous?

I sent my mails last night and it was such a good feeling. ;)

Keep in mind that any convicted of sexual crimes against children prior to 1996 will never go on the registry.
