Burnette was last seen in Rockford, Alabama during the summer of 1984. She has never been heard from again. She is believed to have left of her own accord. Burnette may be traveling with a male companion. They may now be in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
Burnette was arrested sometime in 1984. Her family did not report her missing until 1989 and are not certain of the date of her disappearance; they guessed June 1. Her case remains unsolved.
