Adam and Jason were allegedly abducted by their mother, Nermeen Osama Shannon, while on a weekend visit. She is an alcoholic and has been accused of abusing her sons. A felony warrant for Child Abduction was issued for the abductor on August 28, 2001.

They are believed to have traveled to Cairo, Egypt. The abductor may use the alias last name of Khalifa.

I watched his story on CNN over the weekend. It's heartbreaking! A child is not a parents possession. This happens way too often.

International Child Abduction needs a huge spotlight placed on it.
